Life in Henry VIII's court as seen from the point of view of Thomas Cromwell. This really is a very very fresh look at a story that is so familiar to many of us. I'm not generally a reader of historical fiction but this was so well realised I'm intrigued to read more of the genre. If the story isn't familiar to you then just be aware there are a lot of names! Even with some knowledge of the story it's hard to keep up with the comings and goings of Henry's court. This of course may also have been down to the fact that I listened to it on audio book. The audio book was good but I feel I didn't connect as much as I would if I had read it.
